Crystal Mountain Advanced Terrain Clinic 2/29 & 3/1/2020
The Crystal Mountain Volunteer Ski Patrol (CMVSP) will host the Advanced Terrain Clinic at Crystal Mountain on the weekend of Feb 29th -- Mar 1st. The Advanced Terrain Clinic at Crystal Mountain is a unique and great training opportunity for patrollers throughout the Pacific Northwest Division to enhance their skiing and toboggan skills in steep terrain that is truly challenging. The Advanced Terrain Clinic fee will be $40 which includes lift tickets for both days and a dinner on Saturday evening Feb 29th which will be a great opportunity to network with patrollers from outside your own ski area. There will be an extra fee for the SES and STW portions of the clinic to pay for the PSIA Level III Instructors. Only NSP registered Alpine Patrollers will be allowed to participate. The event is also open to other Alpine Patrollers outside the PNWD.
Instructor Development Course.Final Class (Presentation day 2/29/2020)
Jim Benton is leading an Instructor Development E-Course that will ends on 2/29/2020 at the Northshore Fire Station in Kenmore. An E-Course requires that you watch the online video sessions, take an online final, then come to the single day (in person) class to make a 10 minute presentation with a lesson plan. Senior OET Clinic 2/29/2020
Jack Ramsey, the Division OET Advisor will be putting on a NW Region Senior OET (skiing and toboggan) Clinic on Feb 29th at Crystal Mountain.
Senior OEC & OET Final Evaluations 3/28 & 3/29/2020
CMVSP will be hosting the NW Region Senior Final Evaluation for OEC and OET on the weekend of Mar 28 - 29.
